Should we build in the Greenbelt?

Greenbelts were designed by the government to stop cities spreading in to and destroying the countryside. Should we now be building in these areas?

Trans National Corporations - friend or foe?

TNCs (Trans National Corporations) are companies that have their headquarters in one country and several brach plants ( sometimes administration but mainly production/manufacturing factories) all over the world. McDonalds started in the USA and its headquaters are there, but it has outlets all over the world. Fiat is an example most GCSE Geographers at St Benets have studied, they are based in Italy but have branch factories all over the world including Belo Horizonte in Brazil. the question is are these companies good or bad for the cpountires they set up factories in. companies such as NIke and Gap have really bad press for their factories in South East Asia. So, are TNCs friends or Foes?
